Golden Goose opens in Newmarket Auckland

Christmas is just around the corner and we are thrilled to see Golden Goose has arrived.

Golden Goose continues its expansion worldwide, opening its first store in Auckland, at preeminent high-end shopping destination Westfield Newmarket, adding an Italian spin to the luxury offering and strengthening the brand’s presence in the Asia-Pacific region.

A visual and sensational journey into Golden Goose’s roots: spanning a total surface of 160sqm, the store is inspired by the brand’s Venetian Headquarters and Italian heritage.

With a unique pattern originally used on silk, Venetian wrapping paper covers the long walls, giving a modern twist to the rich tradition of Venetian tapestries. A unique part of our roots, the herringbone floor made of antiqued recovered Italian wood runs throughout the store, conferring a familiar warmth to the entire space. An identity romance, whose stories are revealed corner after corner, detail after detail: always with craftsmanship at the centre, the walls are enriched with vintage wood frames, unveiling step after step the brand’s history, from its origins to this day.

Following the brand’s journey philosophy, the entirely gold-chromed industrial furnishings feature wheels and stickers applied all over, as a reminiscence of travel stamps collected along the way.

Also available at the store, the Sneakers Maker service, a celebration of Golden Goose’s Venetian craftsmanship tradition and know-how, giving customers the opportunity to live an exclusive one-to-one co-creation experience with the brand’s artisans. One-of-a-kind stories, 1OF1 pieces: customers will be able to customize them by unleashing their creativity and dreams, by simply making their story the most unique item to wear.

The store houses locally exclusive creations together with Men’s and Women’s Ready-to-Wear, Accessories and Sneakers Collections.
