10 Eleven is nestled in Ponsonby, situated on the edge of Tuna Mau (Western Park). Their ethos is that every great neighbourhood needs a meeting place that embraces its inhabitants. For many, 10 Eleven is the place to gather and socialise with great drinks and food.
What’s in a name?
The name 10 Eleven was inspired by a group of wonderful locals in Ponsonby, the 1011 club.
The Concept
An alternative approach to current food trends, uniting smoked products into a modern share plates menu, all delivered in a contemporary, salubrious, breezy environment celebrating a shared space for community.
The Owners
Alisdair has years of championing the BBQ community, and now introduces a new level to smoking. With 35 years in the industry. Alisdair was previously the founder of Vivace restaurant and also created and built La Zeppa.
His partner in crime and Co-Owner is Wendy, who has hospitality experience spanning over 30 years in recruitment, catering, and restaurant operations.
The Chef
Rahul John David has worked in many fine establishments such as The Grove and Augustus. His passion for new concepts and food trends shines through in his exceptional dishes.
The Menu
10 Eleven menu introduces a slight smokiness to many of their dishes, adding complexity and nuance.

Bites – smoked salmon dip, spiced avocado, potato crisp & onion caper relish
Sea – Tuna sashimi, wasabi mayo, bonito aioli, green beans & edamame
Smoke – Witicha St Louis Cut Pork Ribs with tonkatsu sauce
Garden – cauliflower steak, smoked cauliflower puree & truffle bechamel
