For the love of dogs

My two little Jack Russell’s are like my children. They are family and it’s always hard to be away from them. We love to travel, and it is often hard to find a dog friendly hotel that is stylish and comfortable. I was thrilled to recently find the Swiss-Belsuites Hotel in Auckland. A luxury hotel that seemed to fit all our needs. A full kitchen, open plan dining, and lounging areas, a huge deck and close to everything with no traffic noise at all! 

Bluey and Daisy had the best experience!  As they arriveddogs were greeted by their names and checked in. The hotel room we had was a large apartment style room with a huge deck and commanding views of the harbour bridge and park. The dogs had so much room to play. The sunset that night was stunning, and the dogs loved sitting by the window watching the birds in the trees in the park. 

The hotel provides dog beds, dog blankets, dog toys, dog bowls for water and food, and they even had a room service delivery – a delicious bag of Purina venison treats. The staff where so attentive and Bluey and Daisy thought they were so special when they got a ride on the baggage trolley. 

The hotel was simply perfect. We slept like babies and so did our dogs. If you have a cat or a dog and need a wee vacation in Auckland City give them a try!
