The Chef's Library The Hotel Britomart

The Chefs Libraries at The Hotel Britomart is something very special.

A unique space that feels luxurious, yet it is like being in someone’s home. The chefs cook right next to your table which creates the right amount of entertainment and ‘food scents’ and the Chefs table seats 8. 

When you book this space, the chef will create a special menu for you and your guests and trust me when I say ‘he’ is good! Head chef Andrew Lautenbach and Chef de Cuisine Uelese Mua are a creative force. We were treated to a 4-course extravagant degustation with matched wines, it was a truly uplifting and sensational experience.

Butterfish, chilli jam, tamarillo, makrut lime with 2017 AF Gros Gevrey Chambertin village

Burnt Agria skin bisque, caviar, potato, pork fat with 2010 Mountford Estate Hommage a L’Alsace

Wapiti venison, quince, celeriac with 2018 Domaine Blain-Gagnard, Volnay, 1er Cru, Champans

70% Miann chocolate, miso and Persimmon, blue monkey with 2016 chateau La Tour Blanche, Sauternes, 1er Grand Cru Classe
