Self Check – Every Single Month

Global leaders in professional high end hair styling tools ghd are proud to launch their 17th annual limited-edition pink collection and campaign, ‘Take Control Now’, in support of breast cancer charities, where $20 from each tool sold goes towards the National Breast Cancer Foundation NZ.


Having already raised over $20 million globally for breast cancer charities, ghd are once again proud to back the cause, which is the most common cancer for Kiwi women. An evolution of 2020’s successful Take Control Now campaign, ghd has partnered with eight incredible muses for the 2021 campaign, to communicate a powerful and emotional message around the importance of self-checking for both yourself and your loved ones.

They invited four young women who have never self-checked to read the intimate stories of people who have been affected by breast cancer, in the hope that hearing these stories would encourage them to start self-checking on a regular basis.


Take Control Now – The Pink Collection

Each tool in the pink collection has been designed to feature the Take Control Now message. The collection includes the award-winning ghd platinum+ ™styler, ghd gold ® styler and ghd helios™ professional hairdryer in a beautiful rose pink tone with metallic pink accents and featuring the central campaign message, ‘Take Control Now’.
